Application deadlines for Spring 2021 start on September 1, 2020, and vary by program. See our full list of program deadlines.
During this temporary campus closure, our departments have continued access to up-to-date digital application files and are actively processing applications. We ask that applicants provide electronic documents when able to ensure the expedited review of their application. Applicants can upload documents via their checklist in the application system or email them directly to email@example.com and we will attach them for you. Unofficial copies of transcripts and test score screenshots from ETS websites are accepted for initial review during this time.
Please be aware, if you are admitted we will require your official documents be delivered by the end of your first semester at UMBC. If you are unable to obtain an electronic version of your documents, or have concerns about your application, please reach out to Mike Suica, Manager, Recruitment and Admissions, at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
We have posted all application processing and standardized testing updates and will notify prospective students of any changes on our Graduate School COVID-19 Update page.
