Corrective Action Process – Fall 2021

Supervisors and other persons responsible for the oversight of staff compliance guidance and resources are required to ensure that staff returning to campus during the COVID-19 pandemic are in compliance with the established COVID-19 safety requirements. The Human Resources Department has established an initial notification process for staff who are not in compliance with COVID-19 safety standards.  Staff who have questions regarding the notifications may contact the dedicated HRCOVID19responseteam@umbc.edu.  Staff who wish to appeal a corrective action may do so utilizing the following links:

Confidentiality of Documents Provided

Documents showing proof the employee has been vaccinated for COVID-19 and written requests for medical and religious exemptions will be kept confidential.  Medical and religious exemption documentation will be maintained in a manner designed to minimize the number of employees who have access to the documents.
